RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

It is our goal at Category5 for you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.  If for any reason you are unsatisfied with any item that you have purchased, please return it within 14 days for a full credit or refund (shipping charges do not apply). Returns and exchanges must be in unworn, unwashed and unaltered condition, with all original tags still attached.

Sale items (an item marked down from its original retail price) cannot be returned or exchanged. If we receive a returned sale item or items, the package will be returned to you, a customer care representative will notify you via email, and you will not receive a refund.

If you receive an item that is defective or damaged, please contact us within 72 hours of receipt of your order at 1.804.477.5511 to request a refund or exchange.  If you decide to exchange an item that is defective, we will pay for the return shipping, as well as ship the replacement item for free.  This is only for defective items.

All returns require a return authorization number (RA#).  Please e-mail us at help@shopcategory5.com to obtain an RA#.  Specific return instructions and the return address will be sent via e-mail within 24 hours of the time your RA# is issued. 

Your refund will be processed within 2-5 business days, however please be aware your credit card company may take up to 30 days to post your refund.  Shipping charges are nonrefundable.

All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.  For your protection, we recommend that you return your item(s) in a manner requiring a signature to show proof of delivery and receipt.

OUR PRIVACY POLICY

When you purchase products at the Category5 site, we ask you for personal information. We use this information to process your orders and to communicate with you about the status of your orders. We also use your email address to send you invitations to events, as well as messages about Category5’s special offers, promotional announcements, and surveys. Occasionally, we send our customers special offers and promotional information via postal mail, using the shipping address provided. If you no longer want to receive the announcements or postal mail, you can email help@shopcategory5.com and request us to stop sending such announcements to you.

SHIPPING & HANDLING

General Shipping Information

All orders require 1 business day to process. Therefore please allow 1 business day before your order will be shipped, regardless of shipping method. If you choose expedited shipping-UPS 3 Day Select, UPS 2 Day Air or UPS Next Day Air Saver-please be aware that the shipping days do not include our one business day processing time. In order to calculate when your order will arrive, start counting shipping days after the one business day processing time. Please also note that UPS does not operate on Sundays, and UPS Ground and 3 Day Shipments are not accepted on Saturdays. If you place your order on Friday after 12pm EST, or on Saturday using UPS Ground or 3 Day Service, your order will not be processed until the following Monday. Any UPS 2 Day or Next Day Shipments that are made on Saturday will need to be in before 12pm EST, otherwise they will not go out until Monday.

For example:
If you choose 2 Day Air you should expect to receive your order within 3 business days.

Orders placed Monday to Friday (excluding holidays) before 12:00pm EST will begin processing that day.

Orders placed after 12:00pm EST will not begin processing until the following business day.

Domestic orders can be shipped UPS Ground, UPS 3 Day Select, UPS 2 Day Air or UPS Next Day Air Saver. We are unable to deliver to APO/FPO addresses, as well as P.O. Boxes. Delivery time does not include Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays.

If you are purchasing gifts that you would like to have shipped to multiple destinations, please complete a separate order for each item that you would like to have shipped to a different destination.

If you choose to refuse any shipments from Category5, you are responsible for the original shipping charges or taxes that are incurred on the package (for both original and return shipments), and the cost of returning the package to Category5. This amount will be deducted from your merchandise refund.

Risk of loss and title for merchandise purchased by you passes to you upon our delivery to the carrier. In the event of merchandise damage or loss during transit, it is your responsibility to file a claim with the carrier.

Shipping Timelines

  • Ground: Expect delivery within 5-7 business days from the time your package is confirmed and departs our warehouse.
  • 3 Day Select: Expect delivery within 3 business days from the time your package is confirmed and departs our warehouse.
  • 2 Day Air: Expect delivery within 2 business days from the time your package is confirmed and departs our warehouse.
  • Next Day Air Saver: Expect delivery the next business day after your package is confirmed and departs our warehouse.
